-47 Positions Available at New Steak ‘n Shake and Blends Coffee Bar/Jack’s Donuts Locations-
TEMECULA, Calif. – (September 17, 2019) – Pechanga Resort Casino needs to fill 47 jobs for two new restaurants opening at the new Great Oak Marketplace. Located off of Pechanga Parkway adjacent to the Pechanga Gas Station, Steak ‘n Shake and Blends Coffee Bar and Jack’s Donuts are hot on hiring. Interested baristas, cashiers, and management are encouraged to apply and attend the job fairs.
The Steak ‘n Shake job fair hosted yesterday, September 16, brought in 15 applicants for the 29 available positions. If you missed it, don’t worry. There will be another one this Friday, September 20, for both outlets. Next Monday, September 23, catch the Blends Coffee Bar and Jack’s Donuts job fair seeking to fill 18 more jobs. The job fairs will be held in the Pechanga Grand Ballroom. Working at a brand-new outlet can provide the opportunity for team members to be the first to establish policies and work flow.
“I have family members who work at Pechanga and love it, so they encouraged me to apply at the Great Oak Marketplace,” said Jessie Purvis, Steak ‘n Shake applicant. “I want to work at Steak ‘n Shake because I love talking to people and making sure I have my customers’ orders right. I’m excited to be able to meet and interact with more people, and also, to gain more experience in the food service industry.”
Jessie’s number one tip for interviewing at Pechanga is to smile and give your most honest answers. She says the questions are straight forward, no trick questions, and that Pechanga made the whole process convenient and easy to navigate.
The September 20 Steak ‘n Shake and Blends Coffee Bar and Jack’s Donuts job fair is from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Hired candidates have an anticipated start date of October 7 for training. The September 23 Blends Coffee Bar and Jack’s Donuts job fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hired candidates have an anticipated start date of October 21 for training. Job seekers are encouraged to apply online before attending the Pechanga job fairs. Candidates should visit Pechanga.com/careers. Those not able to apply online will be able to complete an application at the job fair.
Pechanga hiring managers will be available for on-site interviews. They ask that candidates dress for success and bring their resumes. Candidates must be 18 or older. The Great Oak Marketplace is one of Pechanga’s newest additions and will feature businesses including Steak ‘n Shake, Papa’s Pizza Grotto, Haute Nails, Blends Coffee Bar and Jack’s Donuts.
