Craft Beer, Chili And Entertainment Come Together At Pechanga To Raise Money For Habitat For Humanity

More than 100 craft beers from around the nation will be available for sampling.

TEMECULA, Calif. – (April 15, 2019) – Hundreds of beers, gourmet chili, entertainment and a huge silent auction are all on tap at the 11th Annual Pechanga Microbrew Fest & Chili Cookoff. The one-day event gets underway inside the Pechanga Summit event center Saturday, June 15 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for VIP pass holders and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for general admission ticket holders.

If you’ve been wanting to try out breweries from the established Southern California craft brew scene, or others from around the country, the event provides a perfect opportunity to find regional and international beers all under one roof. Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 18. Prices are $65 for VIP, $50 for general admission and $40 for designated drivers. Beer enthusiasts can taste unlimited samples of craft and small production brews from San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Orange counties, as well as selections from Northern California, the Midwest and even the East Coast. Ticket holders also can enjoy limitless bites of eight varieties of homemade chili, fired up by the award-winning chefs at Pechanga Resort Casino, as well as live music and an extensive silent auction with valuable items on which to bid.

Chef Marlene Moore’s chili is always a contender among the fiery competition between Pechanga chefs as to who makes the best chili.

Pechanga chefs go head-to-head each year to determine the AAA Four Diamond property’s best chili maker. This year, resort chefs will try to unseat Chef Hunter Gonzalez of the Pechanga Banquets & Catering department. Gonzalez and his team won the popular vote for the best bean mélange with his Pork Four Ways chili.

In addition to sampling some of the best craft beers and chili varieties and enjoying live music, the 11
th Annual Pechanga Microbrew Festival features a silent auction with prizes including getaway stays, golf outings, sports memorabilia, fine wine and beer gift baskets, and much more. Proceeds from the event support Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley programs including homebuilding, free Healthy Homes and Financial Wellness workshops, neighborhood revitalization, home improvement on behalf of veterans, and the organization’s two ReStore locations.

VIP festival tickets make a great choice for guests who seek a more intimate environment to taste and appreciate the more than 100 beers and chili varieties on hand before more visitors arrive. VIP tickets are $65 and allow pass holders an early entry at 12 p.m. instead of 1 p.m. for general admission.

VIPs also receive an upgraded tasting glass. General admission Pechanga Microbrew Festival tickets are $50. Guests receive a two-ounce souvenir glass to sample unlimited beer tastings. Designated driver tickets are available for $40. This ticket level allows guests to indulge in the homemade chili and other gourmet food samples, enjoy live music and participate in the extensive silent auction.
