Recently coming in at #9 in Billboard Magazine’s “Hot 200 All-Time Top Artists,” Chicago is the highest charting American band for that recognition. They were also inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame from a long time coming, as this was their first nomination since eligibility in 1994. Chicago is the first American rock band to chart “Top 40” albums in six decades.

Additional lifetime achievements include a Grammy Award, multiple American Music Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, record sales topping the 100,000,000 mark, including 21 “Top 10” singles, 5 consecutive certified “Number One” albums, 11 “Number One” singles and 5 gold singles, with an incredible 25 of their 36 albums having been certified platinum, the band has a total of 47 gold and platinum awards. Hosted in the Pechanga Theater, concertgoers will enjoy comfortable seating and an acoustically superior entertainment space. The venue seats 1,200 people in a tiered, theater setting in which every seat in the house allows a close-up view of the band.

In addition to their record breaking album sales and notable hit singles over the decades, Chicago has also become well known for their humanitarian work. For the past five years, the band has raised over a quarter of a million dollars to fight breast cancer for the American Cancer Society. Chicago generously supports other charitable causes, donating a portion of ticket sales to the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation, which seeks a cure for a fatal children’s disease, Niemann-Pick Type C, and Hannah & Friends, an organization that serves children and adults with special needs. Hannah & Friends is the personal mission of Maura Weis and her husband, Charlie Weis, the current coach at the University of Kansas. As with every concert, a portion of the Pechanga tickets sales benefits these charities in February.
