TEMECULA, Calif. — (September 18, 2018) – Block out the calendar on Thursday, October 25, for two Pink fundraising events at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, Calif. set to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to help put an end to the disease. The new 25,000 square foot, two-story Spa Pechanga is hosting Pamper & Pink from 4-8 p.m., a special “spa-rty” honoring past and present breast cancer patients. Immediately following the event from 8-9 p.m., the new 4 ½ acre pool complex, the Cove, will host a Twilight Candle Send-Off for friends and family to celebrate the lives of their loved ones affected by the disease. Guests must make advance reservations for the Pamper & Pink party at Spa Pechanga. Tickets are $75. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen Inland Empire Chapter. To attend the Twilight Candle Send-Off, guests must register by providing a $10 donation to Komen. In addition to the donations, 15 percent of cabana/daybed sales at the Cove will also go to the organization.
To reserve your spot and mini treatment at Pamper & Pink and/or the Twilight Pink Candle Send-Off, please call Spa Pechanga at 951-770-8501 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. No walk-in tickets will be available.
Special guests will be in attendance throughout the day and night, as six women battling breast cancer will kick up their feet and enjoy a day at the spa followed by VIP entry to Pamper & Pink, where they will be honored and pampered.
Pamper & Pink party guests will enjoy one mini spa treatment, various pampering stations, appetizers, local Temecula wines, discount vouchers, and haircutting stations with a Pamper & Pink ticket. Stylists at the haircutting stations will provide free haircuts and styles to guests who would like to donate at least eight inches of hair, which are then turned into real-hair wigs and given to brave women who’ve lost their hair battling breast cancer. Spa Pechanga’s haircutting “mane campaign” lasts through Friday, Nov. 2.
At the Twilight Candle Send-Off, guests will decorate and release candle votives into the water to honor their family and friends affected by the disease.
To make an appointment for your free haircut/style at Spa Pechanga anytime before Nov. 2, call (951) 770-8501. Hair must not be permanently dyed and may not be more than five-percent grey. Appointments for hair donations and styles are based on availability. Guests may also drop off ponytails to Spa Pechanga.
