Craft Beers, Gourmet Chili & Entertainment Take Center Stage at 10th Annual Pechanga Microbrew Fest & Chili Cookoff

TEMECULA, Calif. – (May 2018) – Hundreds of beers, gourmet chili, entertainment and a huge silent auction are all on tap at the 10th Annual Pechanga Microbrew Fest & Chili Cookoff. The one-day event gets underway Saturday, June 9 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for VIP pass holders and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for general admission pass holders in the new Pechanga Summit event center. If you’ve been wanting to try out the up-and-coming Southern California craft brew scene, this is a perfect opportunity to find regional and international beers under one roof. Tickets are $65 for VIP, $40 for designated driver VIP, $50 for general admission and $30 for designated driver general admission. Tickets may be purchased by calling (888) 810-8871, by visiting Pechanga.com or in person at the Pechanga Box Office.

Beer enthusiasts can taste unlimited samples of craft and small production brews from San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Orange counties, as well as selections from Northern California, the Midwest and even the east coast. Ticket holders also can enjoy limitless bites of eight varieties of homemade chili, fired up by the award-winning chefs at Pechanga Resort & Casino, as well as live music and an extensive silent auction with valuable items on which to bid. Pechanga chefs go head-to-head each year to determine the AAA Four Diamond property’s best chili maker. This year, resort chefs will try to unseat Chef Kiyo Ikeda of Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar who won 2017’s Chili Champion prize with his sake-glazed Kobe beef chili.

With more than 100 microbreweries and craft brewers now calling Southern California home, the Microbrew Festival makes it easy for beer enthusiasts and those new to the scene to experience several breweries at once instead of traveling to each and every one, which could take weeks.

In addition to sampling some of the best craft beers and chili varieties and enjoying live music, the 10th Annual Pechanga Microbrew Festival features a silent auction with prizes including getaway stays, golf outings, sports memorabilia, fine wine and beer gift baskets, and much more. Proceeds from the event support Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley programs including homebuilding, free Healthy Homes and Financial Wellness workshops, neighborhood revitalization, home improvement on behalf of veterans and the organization’s two ReStore locations.

VIP festival tickets are available for the second year in a row and are a great choice for guests who seek a more intimate environment to taste and appreciate the more than 100 beers and chili varieties on hand. VIP tickets are $65 and allow pass holders an early entry at 12 p.m. instead of 1 p.m. for general admission.
VIPs also receive an upgraded tasting glass. General admission Pechanga Microbrew Festival tickets are $50. Guests receive a two-ounce souvenir glass to sample unlimited beer tastings. Designated driver tickets are available for $30. Both ticket levels allow guests to indulge in the homemade chili and other gourmet food samples, enjoy live music and participate in the extensive silent auction. Guests must be 21 or older to attend. For tickets or for more information, visit www.Pechanga.com or call (888) 810-8871.
