On the get-away-from-the-ordinary front, Pechanga’s popular 1882 Cantina offers not-to-miss Cinco de Mayo Margarita and taco specials. The cantina’s bartenders mix up the tasty Paraíso margarita for $12. Made with tequila, watermelon liqueur, lime juice, a dash or cucumber puree and agave syrup, this refreshing drink cools off even the spiciest of tongues. Also on the Cinco de Mayo special are the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos for $18. The dish comes complete with two shrimp tacos with cabbage, pico de gallo, bang-bang sauce and sides of beans and rice. (Bang Sauce is sweet, spicy, creamy, and a perfect sauce for seafood.) These specials are also served along with the restaurant’s daily menu.

The 1882 Cantina also offers a $5 Corona beer special for Cinco de Mayo. The 1882 Cantina Cinco de Mayo food and drink specials run Thursday, May 5 – Sunday, May 7.
