Pechanga Resort Casino Grows Team Partnership to Become Founding Partner of LA Clippers’ New Home Intuit Dome

Inglewood, CA and Pechanga Indian Reservation – The LA Clippers today announced that Pechanga Resort Casino has expanded its partnership to become the team’s exclusive tribal casino and a Founding Partner of its new arena Intuit Dome, which opens Aug. 15. The long-term partnership is rooted in the organizations’ shared value of giving back to Southern California. Pechanga and the Clippers will host events benefitting fans and the local community each year and the Clippers’ Open Practice will be held this fall at the Pechanga Indian Reservation in Temecula on Oct. 8.

“We are excited to partner and support the Clippers as they open their new home, Intuit Dome,” said Ken Perez, President, Pechanga Development Corporation. “This partnership expands the Pechanga brand and presence in Southern California sports and entertainment while making our communities better and stronger.”

“It has long been a priority for the Clippers organization to use our platform to make a meaningful difference and moving into our new home Intuit Dome has allowed us to create a space that brings even more people together,” said Sonnenberg. “We’re very happy to have Pechanga as an Intuit Dome Founding Partner and the exclusive tribal casino of the LA Clippers as we continue programs and events that improve the lives of our neighbors.”

The community-focused partnership tipped off in June, when Pechanga and the Clippers donated laptops and supplies to the Career Center at Ortega High School in Lake Elsinore to help students apply for colleges, jobs, financial aid, and more. Pechanga will also sponsor the team’s annual Feed the Community holiday event, and its support last year helped distribute 33,000 meals to families in need. Future events and committed funding benefiting the community underscore the philanthropic and community improvements already being realized through the enhanced partnership.
