Pechanga Poker & Bingo Players Get Big Perks For Helping Restock Food Pantries After Holidays

Pechanga poker players went all-in on their Restock The Shelves donations in 2018.

TEMECULA, Calif. (Dec. 20, 2018) – Throughout the month of January, Pechanga Poker and Pechanga Bingo players are invited to help the less fortunate, and receive some unique perks.

The two venues have teamed up with Ante Up Magazine and Blue Shark Optics for their Restock the Shelves program that helps replenish food bank supplies after the increased needs of the holiday season. The food donations will directly support the Community Mission of Hope, Temecula’s only food pantry, which services more than 400 residents and families of Murrieta, Temecula, Anza, and Aguanga each month. Last year, Pechanga Poker and Bingo donated 1,900 pounds of non-perishable and canned goods.

Between Monday and Friday in January, Pechanga poker players will receive 500 bonus tournament chips to start for daily tournaments if they bring in two canned good. They receive 1,000 bonus chips to start when they donate three or more canned goods. Poker players should also mark their calendars and remember to bring at least three canned goods for Wednesday, January 30. The Restock the Shelves tournament offers 2,500 in starting chips for a $10 buy-in and three canned goods. Players get 3,500 starting chips for five canned goods and the $10 buy-in.

Donations go to Community Mission of Hope, Temecula’s only food bank.

The January goodwill also spreads at Pechanga Bingo. All Pechanga Club members who bring in two cans of non-perishable foods receive one free earlybird game pack with their buy-in for matinee and evening sessions during the month.

The Restock the Shelves food donation campaign is put on at Pechanga and at other poker rooms in regions across the countries each January. This is the Pechanga Poker Room’s fourth year participating and Pechanga Bingo’s second.
