TEMECULA, Calif. – (August 29, 2019) – Four bands will rock the night away in honor of October’s breast cancer awareness month. Pechanga’s 6th annual Rockin’ for the Cure benefit concert is on Saturday, October 19, at 6 p.m. in the Pechanga Theater. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are only $15 and available to the public. One hundred percent of the ticket sales are donated to Susan G. Komen Inland Empire.
The October 19 benefit concert inside the 1,200-seat Pechanga Theater features every genre from 90s hits, to country, pop, and even classic rock. In the six years Pechanga has hosted this event, $20,000 has been raised for the cause. Some band members will rock with extra passion, as some have been personally affected by the disease. A night of unity, fun and support, the bands are a mix of seasoned rockers from southern California. You’ll be able to catch:
- Fleetwood Max (Tribute to Fleetwood Mac)
- Liquid Circus (Original Hard Rock)
- The Mutts (90s Alternative & Classic Rock)
- Grass (Country Rock)
Based in Northern San Diego County, the show’s headliner is southern California’s premier Fleetwood Mac tribute act, Fleetwood Max. The band recreates the studio versions of all of Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits.
Pechanga Resort Casino team members are actively involved with a number of charities and fundraising events throughout the year. Every October, Pechanga bands together to raise thousands of dollars for Susan G. Komen Inland Empire by way of bake sales, payroll deductions, fun games, and of course, Rockin’ for the Cure.
The benefit concert marks one of the only charity concerts held in the Pechanga Theater on a weekend where 100{76326115ec5f5269a7496686450bef510a535a158f7e03f28de9580924cc320f} of the proceeds go to charity.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, www.rockinforthecure2019.eventbrite.com or at www.pechanga.com. All ages are welcome.
