TEMECULA, Calif. — (Aug. 28, 2018) – Now is the time to rock the vote for Pechanga Resort Casino. Coming off the opening of a $300 million resort expansion, the Temecula resort casino has been cast into the running for three top awards by the readers of USA Today. The publication’s 10Best.com site currently has Pechanga nominated in the “Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas,” “Best Casino Hotel,” and “Best Casino Restaurant” (Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar) categories.

Pechanga is one of four Southern California resort casino competitors in the “Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas” contest. It’s one of two So Cal contenders in the “Best Casino Hotel” list, and the only West Coast casino with a restaurant in the running in the “Best Casino Restaurant” poll.

Pechanga was voted the Best U.S. Casino in the 2015 USA Today 10Best poll. The contest came around again in 2017 when Pechanga was at the height of expansion construction and the resort landed in third place.  Pechanga looks to regain first place, and this time, in three important categories.

Casino properties were chosen for the poll by Lisa Robertson-Dziedzic, Editorial Director for Casino Player and Strictly Slots magazine, Steve Bourie, author of the book the American Casino Guide and a popular YouTube casino personality, and by Michael Shackleford, a gaming mathematician, writer and slot machine game development consultant.
