Pechanga Looking for a Few Good Men & Women at Military Open House

TEMECULA, Calif. – (Jan. 22, 2015) – Pechanga Resort & Casino hosts an employment open house specifically for current and former members of the military. Taking place Wednesday, January 28 from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. in the Turtle Conference Room on the Pechanga hotel’s second floor, Pechanga Human Resources professionals will meet with prospective job applicants with military experience to gauge their interest and skills in order to fill available positions in six of the resort’s 10 divisions. Military applicants have the opportunity to listen to testimonials from a panel of current Pechanga employees who are also armed services veterans. Candidates are encouraged to ask questions and gain more information about the culture of working at the state’s largest resort/casino before they head into their interview with a Human Resources specialist.

If interested in attending, job seekers must first fill out a basic application at www.PechangaCareers.com. The online application registers them for the open house.  Pechanga Human Resources specialists will be looking for candidates to be placed in the Food and Beverage, Hotel Operations, Table Games, Bingo, Facilities/Maintenance and Public Safety Departments. TEMECULA, Calif. – (June 27 2014) – Four bingo winners took home more than $82,000.00 in jackpots within three weeks after playing at Pechanga Resort & Casino. Pechanga Bingo has blown out big jackpots many times since opening on July 4, 2013, but four in 21 days is remarkable anywhere. The most recent big win, a bingo scored by Theodore Tyler of Murrieta, Calif., totaled $11,128. Tyler came into Pechanga Bingo for the matinee session on Monday, June 9 and played in a “Pick 8s in 18” and thrilled himself by getting a bingo. The jackpot prize for this uncommon bingo game carried a progressive amount of $11,128.00. “I’m not sure right now what I’ll do with my windfall, but I’m going to enjoy my summer some more,” he told Pechanga Bingo staff.

On May 31, Debra K. from San Marcos, Calif. sat down inside Pechanga Bingo for the evening session and played for five minutes. The shipping supervisor bought in for $65 and in a matter of minutes, called “Bingo!” and realized she had triggered the progressive jackpot for $28,917.00. “I kind of had this weird feeling when I came into the bingo facility, almost like my hands were itching. Some said that means you’re going to get money. I guess they were right.” She says she plans to save some of the winnings and will give some to charity.
