For eight months, the five person auto mechanic shop at Pechanga Resort & Casino carefully spent any minute of downtime building a small-profile service truck completely from scrap. TEMECULA, Calif. – (April 16, 2014) – On a recent Saturday, the largest team of participants in the Temecula Valley Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s annual walk, the team from Pechanga Resort & Casino, put one foot in front of the other at a local minor league baseball stadium. They set out on their journey for the morning to remember a fellow team member who one month earlier passed away from type 1 diabetes, and to raise money for research to work toward eradicating the disease.

 TEMECULA, Calif. – (April 8, 2014) – Coming off a nearly week-long majors stint in the Palm Springs area, many of the LPGA’s top players headed west on Monday, April 7 to play amid the Temecula Valley wine country and support a worthy cause. Nineteen pro players, along with 101 other golfers, participated in the 2nd Annual KoreAm Pro-Am, an event that hosts LPGA invited players and raises awareness for the LPGA Foundation whose mission is to empower and inspire girls and women through the game, on the links at Journey at Pechanga. Pechanga Resort & Casino won the distinction from a field of 10 nominees including businesses in healthcare, wineries, manufacturing, sales, and hospitality. TEMECULA, Calif. – (March 31, 2014) – Dan Baker of Wildomar, Calif. will be celebrating spring and adding fewer carbon emissions to the environment thanks to the brand new car he won in the Spring Fling Car Giveaway at the Pechanga Resort & Casino Poker Room. Baker, a teacher, smiled from ear to ear as he sat inside his new 2014 Toyota Prius worth more than $25,000.00 and posed for pictures. Pechanga Poker players qualified for the car drawing during the two days prior to the winner being selected. Drawings were held every 30 minutes for 10 hours each day. Each hour, two winners pocketed $200 (total of $8,000 in cash prizes) and were entered to win the sporty hybrid. After the stroke of midnight on Friday, March 28, the grand finale drawing was held in the Pechanga Poker Room. Dan Baker said he could not believe his ears when the announcer called his name.
