\"\"<\/a>TEMECULA, Calif.<\/strong> (April 8, 2025) — Thirty-six of the world\u2019s best LPGA golfers descended on Pechanga Resort Casino on a warm spring day in April. The ladies participated in the fun and no-pressure, 12th<\/sup> Pechanga ProAm on the links at Journey at Pechanga, part of Pechanga Resort Casino. In the 12 years of the event held at Pechanga, this year\u2019s featured the most LPGA players yet. Golfers such as Angel Yin, Gabriela Ruffels, Grace Kim, Savannah Grewal and Dewi Weber got the chance to play one of the top-rated courses in California alongside Pechanga guests and tee sponsors, all while enjoying the camaraderie and friendly competition with Tour dates not starting back up until April 17 in the Los Angeles area.<\/p>\n

Angel Yin is a Chinese American professional golfer known for her powerful swing and achievements on the LPGA Tour. She secured her first professional victory at the 2017 Omega Dubai Ladies Classic and her first LPGA Tour win at the 2023 Buick LPGA Shanghai. Notable finishes include a runner-up position at the 2023 Chevron Championship. As of March 2025, Yin is ranked 12th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings and has been a key contributor to the U.S. Solheim Cup team.<\/p>\n

Gabriela Ruffels, ranked 49th in the Rolex Rankings, is an Australian-American professional golfer and former tennis player. She started tennis at the age of eight and transitioned to golf in 2015 and made history as the first Australian to win the U.S. Women\u2019s Amateur in 2019. A standout at USC, she competed with the Trojans at the NCAA Division I Women\u2019s Golf Championships. Ruffels has delivered notable finishes, tying for 13th at both the 2020 U.S. Women\u2019s Open and Women\u2019s British Open. In 2023, she earned Epson Tour Player of the Year honors, cementing her status as a rising star in golf.<\/p>\n

Grace Kim is a Korean-Australian professional golfer, ranked 83rd in the Rolex Rankings. She turned professional in 2021 and secured her first LPGA Tour victory at the 2023 Lotte Championship in just her third start as a member. Prior to joining the LPGA Tour, Kim demonstrated her talent with back-to-back wins at the TPS Sydney on the ALPG Tour in 2021 and 2022. Off the course, Kim is known for her dedication to the sport and her role as a four-time recipient of the Karrie Webb Scholarship, reflecting her commitment to excellence in golf.<\/p>\n

Savannah Grewal is a Canadian professional golfer currently ranked 304th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. She joined the LPGA Tour in 2024 after an impressive amateur career at Clemson University, where she earned first-team All-ACC honors and set a school record with a 71.77 stroke average during the 2022-2023 season. In her debut professional season, Grewal achieved a career-best tie for fourth place at the 2024 Blue Bay LPGA, highlighted by a remarkable third-round score of 64.<\/p>\n

Dewi Weber is a Dutch professional golfer. She turned professional in 2019 after a successful amateur career, including playing collegiate golf at the University of Miami, where she was a two-time All-American. Weber has recorded notable finishes, including a tie for sixth at the 2022 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational and an eighth-place finish at the 2024 Portland Classic. As of March 2025, she is ranked 296th in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.<\/p>\n
