TEMECULA, Calif. (Jan 13, 2025) — <\/strong>In celebration of the Year of the Snake, Pechanga Resort Casino offers guests exclusive dining specials at its three Asian restaurants, traditional entertainment and festive d\u00e9cor throughout the resort. Ring in Lunar New Year while you stroll through decorative holiday adornments throughout the property. Decorations will go up across Pechanga on January 16 and will stay up for an entire month. Lunar New Year is January 29, 2025.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, February 1 at 3 p.m., the Lucky Lion Dancers of San Diego descend on Pechanga\u2019s North Casino Entrance. Following the traditional \u201cawakening\u201d of the lions with firecrackers, the dance troupe (the lions) performs at the Pechanga North Entrance as they move and show off their incredible acrobatics in the large outdoor area before heading inside the casino for guests\u2019 entertainment. The lion dance show is free and open to all ages, however, only those 21 and older are allowed inside casino areas.<\/p>\n

The chefs of Bamboo, Blazing Noodles and Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar are each preparing for Lunar New Year by creating specialty dishes. These dishes incorporate elements important in many Asian cultures for signifying good luck, prosperity and healthfulness.<\/p>\n

Guests of Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar can experience three dishes exclusive to the restaurant for Lunar New Year. Chef Charles Adkins imparts good fortune for Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar guests through his bold flavors in the Lobster Fried Rice ($45), Mandarin Chicken Salad ($27) and Spicy Garlic Pork Belly Yakisoba ($36). \u201cLobster and chicken dishes are often used for celebrations,\u201d said Adkins. Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar is open every day for dinner at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

Chef Marie Surakul at Bamboo serves up nine Lunar New Year specials \u2013 Golden Egg Rolls, Steamed Whole Fish, Steamed Whole Chicken with Hidden Sticky Rice, Long Life Noodles with Beef, Chinese BBQ Pork, Snow Crab Singapore Curry, Eggplant and Green Beans, King Crab Typhoon and Chef\u2019s Holiday Fried Rice. Chef Surakul says the golden egg rolls are a throwback to her childhood. She and her mom would spend time at their home in Thailand preparing egg rolls for their friends and family to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Bamboo opens for lunch and dinner service, as well as late night dining on weekends, every day at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n

Blazing Noodles, just off the Pechanga hotel lobby, dishes up four traditional Asian specialties for the occasion. These include Kwai-Fei Chicken ($78), House Special Pork Char-siu ($28), Hong Kong style steamed whole fish ($78) and Tang-Yuan, a glutinous rice ball served in a sweet broth ($16). Blazing Noodles opens for lunch and dinner service, as well as late night dining on weekends, every day at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n

The Blazing Noodles, Bamboo and Umi specialties will be served from Jan. 27 through Feb. 9. Reservations are recommended at Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar and may be made by visiting www.Pechanga.com\/eat<\/a> or calling (951) 770-8504.<\/p>\n
