TEMECULA, Calif. (February 2, 2018) – Pechanga Resort & Casino has announced the recent hire of Chef YingCong He to lead the team at Bamboo utilizing his extensive Asian culinary experience. Chef YingCong will be elevating the Bamboo dining experience with the introduction of additional fusion menu options and a fine dining experience.

Originating from China, Chef YingCong has spent the past decade honing his craft at various locations throughout Las Vegas. Beginning as a Wok-fried and Dim Sum chef at several authentic and delicious restaurants specializing in Chinese cuisine, Chef YingCong worked his way toward several of the top casino locations on the Las Vegas strip as an Asian specialty chef, Asian sous chef and VIP chef tournant. Chef YingCong’s experience includes back-of-house management, creation of menus, staff development and utilizing his skills in Chinese cuisine to offer guests the best dining experience possible. Chef YingCong is proficient in Chinese dialects Mandarin and Cantonese making him an invaluable asset to the Bamboo team.

When not catering to Bamboo guests, Chef YingCong enjoys spending his time exploring various markets throughout Southern California from San Diego to Los Angeles. The time at the markets is used to experience new ingredients and influences that can be incorporated into future menu options and dishes.

Located inside Pechanga Resort & Casino, Bamboo is a bold, exciting spin on Asian dining. With a strong Vietnamese influence, but also infused with culinary flairs from China and Korea, Bamboo’s true specialty is sending palates of all types aflutter with flavors that both honor tradition and take the Asian dining experience in innovative and unexpected new directions.
