Great poker moments are made in the Pechanga Poker Room. During the Endless Summer Series, the Pechanga Grand Ballroom will be the site of one of the biggest tournaments in the area — the $200,000 Guaranteed Main Event.

TEMECULA, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2018) – Before the Pechanga Poker Room became the place to go for the friendliest dealers and low rakes, before the comfortable surroundings on the second floor above Pechanga’s massive 200,000-square foot casino literally and figuratively took poker to another level, Pechanga’s Grand Ballroom was the site for many big-money tournaments.

Those days are back at the West Coast’s largest and friendliest resort casino, which will host the Endless Summer Poker Series from Tuesday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 23 – an 11-tournament, six-day, $300,000 guaranteed pokerpalooza that features a $200,000 guaranteed Main Event.

The Endless Summer Poker Series begins Tuesday, Sept. 18 with a $70 buy-in Survivor Tournament, where the top 10 percent of the field will win an equal share of the prize pool. Following that is the first of three $240 buy-in Mega Stack tournaments – each featuring at least a $20,000 guarantee. Finishing up the day is a $130 buy-in event.

On Wednesday, Sept. 19, it’s the second $70 Survivor Tournament and the second $20,000 guaranteed, $240 Mega-Stack Tournament. Thursday, Sept. 20 brings a $70 satellite event into the day’s $30,000 guaranteed Mega-Stack Tournament and a $130 buy-in no-limit event.

Those are all warm-ups for the Endless Summer Series Main Event: a $200,000 guaranteed no-limit tournament that has four Day 1 Flights: two on Friday, Sept. 21 at noon and 5 p.m., and two on Saturday, also at noon and 5 p.m. The players who make it to level 15 of each Day 1 Flight will come together to compete for the prize pool on Sunday, Sept. 23 at noon. The prize pool is guaranteed to be at least $200,000, but it is anticipated to be much larger.

Wrapping up Saturday’s play is a $150 buy-in Ladies Survivor Tournament, the perfect opportunity for a “girls night out.”

The Endless Summer Poker Series wraps up Sunday with the finals of the Main Event at noon and a $240 buy-in, $30,000 guaranteed, no-limit event at 2 p.m.

All the tournaments are in Pechanga’s Grand Ballroom, located next to the Pechanga Summit.

“We haven’t had a big series like this in a long time, probably 10 years. We really want to showcase what we do here and we want to get back in the game of having big events each year,” said Richie Lopez, Pechanga’s assistant director of the poker room and OTB parlor. “We’re getting a lot of positive feedback with this event and our goal is to work our way up to a half-million guarantee.”

Located on the second floor, the Pechanga Poker Room is open 24 hours a day and features 40 comfortably appointed tables of non-stop action in such games as No-Limit and Limit Texas Hold-‘em and Omaha Hi-Lo.
