LAS VEGAS – (May 29, 2015) – Brandon Barnette, a poker supervisor from Corona, Calif., called his wife, at home with their four-month-old son, on Friday, May 29 around 1:00a.m. to tell her he had won it all. Brandon emerged from the kickoff event of the 2015 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas the champion with total winnings of $75,704 after beating 687 competitors. The victory marked the Pechanga Resort & Casino poker supervisor’s first gold bracelet win.

PECHANGA INDIAN RESERVATION, Calif. – (May 18, 2015) – Special Olympics Southern California, Pechanga and Riverside County Law Enforcement celebrated a kickoff to the 2015 summer games season with the lighting of Flame of Hope at Pechanga Resort & Casino. On a crisp and sunny Sunday afternoon in May, about 150 police officers, firefighters and other law enforcement, Special Olympics athletes and the public gathered outside the resort/casino to see the Special Olympics torch be lit from a ceremonial cauldron. The crowd heard a few remarks by Riverside County Sheriff, Stan Sniff, and by Pechanga Development Corporation board member Ken Perez about their longstanding commitments to the organization.
Before the torch lighting ceremony concluded, Pechanga presented a $20,000 check to the Special Olympics to help support critical programs in the community. Athletes then laced up their shoes as they readied for the ceremonial first lap through the hotel/casino’s valet area.

TEMECULA, Calif. – (March 31, 2015) – Those looking for big laughs at the Pechanga Comedy Club can find them with two money-saving discounts offered by Pechanga Resort & Casino starting in mid-April.
Anyone who signs up for a new Pechanga Club Card on or after April 13 will automatically be awarded a complimentary comedy club ticket. These tickets are valid for any Friday or Saturday performance unless otherwise noted.
The other new perk to come online for the comedy club goes to Pechanga hotel guests who will receive two-for-one tickets. To receive the discount, hotel guests must purchase comedy club tickets in person at the Pechanga Box Office or at the door the night of the show and present a room key. Promotions and discounts are subject to change.
