TEMECULA, Calif. – (May 12, 2016) – Angels fans are invited to meet right fielder Kole Calhoun at a free meet and greet on Thursday, May 26 at Pechanga Resort & Casino. Calhoun will sign one personal item per guest from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. in the resort’s Grand Ballroom. Signatures are open to the first 500 guests. Patrons attending the event must be 18 or older, or accompanied by an adult, to enter the Pechanga Grand Ballroom for the autograph session.
Originally from Buckeye, Arizona, outside of Phoenix, Calhoun was a standout high school baseball player at Buckeye High School where he had his number retired this winter. He attended a local community college before being offered a scholarship to play baseball at Arizona State University. The Angels drafted Calhoun in 2010 and he made his Major League Baseball debut in 2012. In 2015, Calhoun played in 159 games for the Angels and earned his first American League Gold Glove Award after posting a .989 fielding percentage and registering 11 outfield assists. He became the eighth Angels outfielder to win the award which is voted on by American League managers and coaches.
