Pechanga’s Award-Winning Great Oak Steakhouse features specials for the holidays

TEMECULA, Calif. – (Dec. 12, 2013) – Families and friends around the world come together on Christmas to share a meal and to celebrate the holiday season. Guests throughout Southern California and beyond can do the very same thing while enjoying gourmet fare on Christmas at Pechanga Resort & Casino. Six of the resort’s 11 restaurants will feature delectable dining specials on December 25. From 9:00a.m. to 10:00p.m., the Pechanga Buffet serves lunch and dinner on Christmas Day for $28.95. Children ages three to 11 are $14.50 and children younger than three are free. Oysters on the half shell, fresh crab and shrimp, both hot and cold snow crab, Sea Bass Puttenesca, Mustard Herb-Glazed Salmon and more make up selections fresh from the sea. At the Asian action station, choose from Sliced Duck Breast with Cherry Hoisin Sauce, Orange Chicken, Egg Rolls, Vegetable Lo Mein and much more. The buffet’s rotisserie features Cranberry Glazed Seared Quail, Smoked Bratwurst and St. Louis Ribs. At the carving stations, guests can get their appetites going with Herb Rubbed Prime Rib, Rosemary Roasted Leg of Lamb, Smoked Wild Boar, Brown Sugar Maple Glazed Ham and more. Fans of Italian, Mexican, the freshest salads and sushi will also find exactly what they want at the Pechanga Buffet. Be sure to leave room for dessert. Chef Francesco Di Caudo features Cotchino e Zucca, a Butternut Squash Salad with Bagnet Vert, Radicchio Trevisano and Cotchino for $12.00. For entrées, he prepares Spaghetti Con Rapini e Ricci – Garlic and Oil Spaghetti with Broccoli Rabe, rich anchovy and Sea Urchin for $28. Their holiday special includes a 12-ounce Prime Rib cut with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, au jus, creamy horseradish and Yorkshire pudding for $28.00.
